Yearbooks have arrived!
The 2015 yearbooks have arrived and will be distributed in
the east gym, today after school.
Art Club
Art Club will have its first meeting today after
school. There is a sign-up sheet on the
art room door if you are interested in joining.
Wrestling
The
wrestling team is selling Taylorville Tornado phone cases until September 4th. If you are interested in further details, talk
to any member of the wrestling team or Coach Pullen.
FFA
Taylorville FFA is having a meeting in Room 161 at 7:30 a.m.
sharp on Thursday morning for anyone enrolled in an Ag Class. If you participated in anything for the FFA
during the summer, you will need to sign up to attend the Farm Progress
Show.
Class Floats
Student Council
Float building for the Homecoming Parade will be held
September 20-22 at the Fairgrounds.
Signup sheets will be outside of Mr. Aymer’s Room. Seniors will be building their float with the
Senior Representative, Carlie Bitschenauer.
Juniors will be building their float with the Junior Representative,
Heath Fleming. Sophomores will be
building their float with the Sophomore Representative, Lauren Barto and
Freshmen will be building their float with the Freshmen Representative, Elizabeth
Curtin.
Boys Basketball
Boys Basketball open gyms will be this evening
beginning at 3:30 p.m. Please note the
time change.

Juniors:
THS will give the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 14 at 8:15 a.m. The
cost to take this test is $15.00. Sign up in Student Services NO LATER
THAN Wednesday, August 26 at the end of the school day. Payment is
required to reserve you place. Checks should be made out to THS.
Limited numbers of spots available so don’t wait to sign up.
Attention Seniors: Walgreens is looking for a
part-time pharmacy tech. You must be 18 years of age. Applicants
with an interest in the medical field and/or sciences will be given special
consideration. If interested, apply online at walgreens.com or speak to
the pharmacy department.
