The 2018 Drift took second place for "overall excellence" in its division, as well as second place in "copy writing," and "best use of photography," third place in "coverage of the year," and honorable mentions in "sports coverage," "graphics," "layout and design," and "theme development."

LLCC is hosting 2 informational meetings about the College Now program for area high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors as well as their parents or guardians. No registration is necessary. At a meeting you will learn about student qualifications, program content, costs, student planning and other helpful tips. The sessions will be held this Thursday, January 10 and Tuesday, January 22 from 6-7 pm on Taylorville's campus.

EDI Incentive Winners
The list for the 2nd Semester Incentive winners will be posted later this week in the main foyer. Until this list is posted Advisories will remain the same as they were last semester. If you had Advisory last semester, you will have it until we announce the posting of the new EDI list.

There will be a track meeting today after school in Room 143.

Concert Choir
Attention singers! Concert Choir open auditions are being held at the end of this week. Mixed Choir is open to anyone, but if you are interested in joining Concert Choir for next year, you must audition first. Stop by the Choir Room immediately after school on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday this week. Come prepared to sing any song of your choice as part of the audition. See Mr. Chase if you have questions.

Student Council
There will be a blood drive on Friday, January 18th. 16 year olds need a parental consent form. Consent forms are available in the Main Office. Remember to have your ID with you when donating. Contact McKenna Anderson with any questions.
