Seniors:

 Please check your email for a Google Form regarding senior march. Seniors will have the opportunity to wear their caps and gowns through the elementary and junior high schools on Tuesday, May 16 after graduation practice.  Please see Mrs. Sorrill with any questions. 

 

Prom

Juniors and Seniors: Final Round of voting for prom court is active.  Please make sure you vote before Friday April 28 at 4 p.m.  Voting for Prom King and Queen will close at that time.   If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Tanner or Ms. Potter. 

Prom tickets will be on sale next week starting Monday May 1 and ending Thursday May 4.   You can purchase your ticket before school in the main foyer or in the cafeteria during lunch.  Tickets are $20.  If you personally are an SAT Incentive winner, your ticket is $15.  All guest passes (students from other schools)  must be completed and signed before you can purchase tickets.  Tickets may be purchased by Juniors and Seniors only.   If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Tanner or Ms. Potter.

Prom Guest Passes are available in the Main Office.  If you are inviting a guest to prom, before you purchase any tickets you must have the guest pass form completed and signed by the administration.  A student's guest cannot be a middle school or junior high school student and not be older than 20 years of age.  In addition, any individual currently serving an expulsion or suspension from any school district may not attend. 

Student Services

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2023 Miss Christian County Fair Queen. Check out the pageant Instagram or Facebook page for the application link. The Pageant will be held on July 18 during the fair and the winner will receive a $1000 educational scholarship.

Congratulations to the THS Band, Choir and Jazz Band on great performances at the IHSA State Organizational Music Contest on Friday, April 14. The Choir earned an Excellent (division 2) rating and the Band and Jazz Band received Superior (division 1) ratings.

 

Congratulations to the following students for receiving placement at the Shelby County Art Show this past weekend. 1st in Acrylic Portrait Painting: Adriana Olivio, 1st place in Ceramics: Cara Otey, 1st place in Colored Drawing and 3rd in Acrylic Painting: Mylie Corso, 1st in Acrylic Painting: Izabella Kail, 1st and 2nd in Photography: Bix Vaira, 2nd in Photography: Hallie Smith.

Blood Drive

The next blood drive is on April 13th. There will be a form sent out and you have to be 16 to sign up. If you are 16 then you need to grab a parental consent form in the office. Contact Darrian Ippolito if you have any questions.
