Energy Education

Since we’re quickly approaching summer, your Energy Education Community Challenge tips for this week are all about saving energy over summer break. On those nice days when it doesn’t feel as hot, turn off your AC and use ceiling, floor and table fans instead. Fans use a fraction of the energy that central AC units do — so when the job can be done by a fan, pick the fan.

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

To keep things interesting, we have added to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! No one wants to see Mr. Hutchison take a bucket alone and we want to raise lots of money for this important cause. There will be a table set up in the cafeteria during all lunches continuing today until Thursday May 9th to vote for a staff member to take the challenge alongside Mr. Hutchison on Friday May 10th. Drop some change or a few bucks in some buckets. The staff member with the most money in their bucket at the end of the day next Thursday will be drenched with Mr. Hutchison next Friday. Thanks to the fun and good sports for volunteering!

Seniors

Seniors need to have their lockers cleaned out by the end of the day on Friday, May 10th. Extra trash containers will be available.

Seniors
We are looking for any graduating senior who would like to give the Invocation or Benediction at the graduation ceremony. Please see Mrs. Sandy Williams in the Main Office.

FCA

Tornado Tuesday
FFA and GSA are hosting a combined special Tie-Dye Tornado today. Seniors this is your last chance to go to a Tornado Tuesday! Come eat some food and desserts and make some tie-dye for summer. Can bring your own items or buy plain t-shirts to dye at the event. All are welcome!
