Energy Education
Your energy saving tip for the day is to try to concentrate your air conditioning flow to the rooms or areas of your home that you use the most. This is more energy-efficient than trying to cool your entire home. Close the vents in those rooms you don’t frequently use, like spare bedrooms and the basement and only open them when you need them.
ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
To keep things interesting, we have added to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! No one wants to see Mr. Hutchison take a bucket alone and we want to raise lots of money for this important cause. There will be a table set up in the cafeteria during all lunches continuing today until Thursday May 9th to vote for a staff member to take the challenge alongside Mr. Hutchison on Friday May 10th. Drop some change or a few bucks in some buckets. The staff member with the most money in their bucket at the end of the day this Thursday will be drenched with Mr. Hutchison this Friday. Thanks to the fun and good sports for volunteering!
Seniors
Seniors need to have their lockers cleaned out by the end of the day on Friday, May 10th. Extra trash containers will be available.
Cheer Team
Cheer Clinics will continue today through Thursday at 4:30-6:30 and tryouts will be May 10th at 4:30. Current physical must be turned into the school nurse. Any further questions please contact Shelly Rexroad at (217)827-8787.
Cinderella DVD’S
Orders are being taken for “Cinderella” DVD’s in the Main Office. DVD’s are $10 each. You must pay when ordering. Last day to order will be Friday, May 10th.
Madrigals
Madrigal Auditions will be held today, Wednesday, May 8. You must sign up for a specific audition time outside the choir room. See Mr. Chase if you have any questions.
Counseling Center
Any student wanting to take summer school must see their counselor. There are a limited number of seats available. We will be allowing upper classmen the opportunity first. Please don't wait to sign up.
SENIORS: Senior Awards Night is this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
