Madrigals
Are you interested in the Madrigal Dinners, but haven't auditioned yet? Were you formerly in choir, but couldn't fit it into your schedule? Do you like to sing, but need a nudge to get you started? Then, the Madrigal Carolers is the group for you! Practices start in early October, so stop by and talk with Mr. Chase for information and to get involved! You'll be glad that you did!
Folds of Honor
Friday, September 30th, 2022 is our 2nd Annual Folds of Honor / Military Appreciation game vs. Charleston (7pm). All students should have received an email for the military themed apparel that is for sale to support this great cause. All students and their families are able to purchase Tornado/Military themed apparel, in advance for the game, until September 11th, 2022. Our goal for this game is to raise $5,000.00, which is the amount that supports one educational scholarship to help benefit a military family through Folds of Honor. Last year, THS raised approx. $7500.00 for Folds of Honor. As a reminder, recipients of these scholarships are family members of those who have lost their life or have been severely disabled while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Jostens will be here today during advisory and Wednesday, 9/21 during lunch periods to measure, take ring orders and down payments. Sophomores who missed meeting should pick up Ring Design kit in guidance.
