Colors of Pride.

Colors of Pride would like to celebrate "Random Acts of Kindness Day" with you, on Friday February17th! Our group will be giving away $30 Amazon gift cards to one student and one staff member for performing a random act of kindness.

Random acts of kindness include many things such as: picking up litter in the community or school, giving an unexpected compliment, donating clothes, carrying someone's groceries, visiting folks at a nursing home, leaving a positive comment on social media, giving someone a thank you note, and many more. 

To enter, one must do the following:

1: Perform a random act of kindness on Friday, February 17th

2: eMail proof to Mr. Farden by 11:59pm on Friday

3: Gift card drawing will occur on Tuesday, February 21st

4: Pick up your Gift Card and "Treat Yo Self!"

Each act of kindness will earn its own entry, so perform as many random acts as you'd like. Remember, it's cool to be kind!

Musical crew applications are now available! If you are interested in being a part of the backstage crew of the musical Annie, this is your chance. Just pick up an application packet in the THS main office, follow the directions, and return to Mr. Chase by February 10.

Sophomores and Juniors

If you are interested in School-To-Work for next school year, please see Ms. Pennock in room 303.  Adding STW to your choice of classes does not guarantee your admittance to the program.  You must complete an application process!

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is once again collecting Birthdays in a Bag for the Taylorville Food Pantry. Fill a gift bag with things you need for a birthday party - cake mix, frosting, candles, plates, balloons, whatever you want - and drop it off in the front circle drive this Saturday, February 4th from 9 to noon. Help make somebody's birthday extra special!

School Pictures

Tommy Photo will have picture retakes on February 9th before school, during lunch, and during advisory.  Retakes due to photographer error (eyes closed, glass glare, poor lighting, etc.) are free of charge.  Retakes due to not liking the previous picture (bad hair day, etc.) are 25% off.  

Any students who ordered school pictures and does not have an advisory class, check in the main office for your pictures.
