6:30 PMGIRLS V - VOLLEYBALL Vs. IHSA Sectional vs Highland(A) - SHG - West Campus-bus 4:45 pm

STUDENTS
Congratulations to Chris Cherry for his performance at the Decatur Sectional Cross Country Meet this past Saturday, at Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur. Cherry Finish 5th overall with a time of 15:26.98 for the 3 mile course. This time puts him as the new record holder for 3 miles for THS. The previous record was held by Luke Sloan back in 2015 at the same course with a time of 15:27.45.Chris will run on Saturday the 3rd at Peoria's Detweiller Park, at 12:00 P.M. He will be competing against the top 225 runners in the State.

Wrestling
Attention ALL individuals interested in participating in wrestling this 2018-2019 school year, need to sign-up in the weight room with Coach Mateer. The deadline for sign-ups is November 9th. If you have any questions, please see Coach Mateer.

Boys Basketball

Boy’s basketball open gym for tonight is cancelled.

Prom
Prom Committee -- Juniors please check your email for a form about becoming a part of the 2019 Prom Committee. Any questions please see Mrs. Thorpe, Ms. Potter, or Mrs. Tanner.

E-Sports
Anyone in the eSports Club that wants to attend practice this week needs to have their permission slip in to Mr. Held in time to practice.

The first practice is Thursday November 1 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the STEM Lab at THS. Please use the front door to the school to enter.

Chem Club
Send a Boo to your Boo! This week is Halloween week, send a boo to those special monsters in your life. The Chem Club will be selling the “Boos” during lunch and before advisory for $1 apiece. They will be delivered Friday (Nov. 2nd) to your third hour. The Chem Club will also be having a bake sale during those same times, $0.50 a treat.

The Monsta Bash Costume Dance is Saturday Nov. 3rd from 7-10. Tickets will be sold during lunch or in Ms. V’s room. They are $10 for single and $15 for couple. Remember, there will be a costume contest, dancing, games and photo booths.

Student Council
The THS Student Council is sponsoring a Volleyball Tournament on November 1st in the West Gym. Cost is $5.00 per player. There must be at least 2 girls and 2 boys on each team. Registration information is in the main office.

CEO
The Christian County CEO will be hosting a Powder Puff or a girl’s football game, on November 14th at 6:00 pm.
