There is a lost and found table in the main foyer.  Please check the table for items you may be missing.  Items not claimed will be donated to charity by Friday, April, 8, 2016.
Beginning today, April 1st any student with a negative balance on their lunch account will only be served peanut butter and jelly as their lunch entrée.
Prom
Need a new gown for prom?  Want to get rid of last year's??
On Saturday, April 2, 2016, the Taylorville Senior Center is hosting a Prom Gown Sale at its Center at 701 West Adams from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Donations of gently used and clean prom gowns are being solicited and should be delivered to the Senior Center no later than March 31.
Key Club
There will be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on April 13th in the West Gym at 6:00 p.m.  Sign-up sheets are in the Main Office.  All proceeds will be donated to the Class of 2016 Memorial.
Dance Team
Tryouts will be held today, April 1 and Saturday, April 2.

The following students need to report to the Main Office at the end of first period:
Mikala Finks, Blake Heimsness, Brett Langen, Jordan Moats, Alexus Olive, Kailey Talley.
Counseling Center
Attention Seniors:  The application for the Stonington Lions Club Scholarship Program is now available in Student Services and online on the counseling link of the high school web page.  Applicants must live in the former Stonington School District.  Application is due July 1.  

Attention Seniors:  Applications for the Ronnie Perona Memorial Scholarship are now available in Student Services.  Applicants must have participated in a sport.  Award amount is $2,500.  Application deadline is April 18.
Attention Students Grades 9 thru 11:  Interested in one of the Military Service Academies? MacArthur High School is hosting an information session on Tuesday, April 19 from 6-7 pm. RSVP to Hubert.Murray@mail.house.gov or 217.791.6224 by April 15.  Speakers from the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy will be making presentations.

Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School - Friday, April 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Northern Illinois University - Wednesday, April 6 at 8:30 p.m.
Western Illinois University - Wednesday, April 18 at 9:45 a.m.

Employment Opportunities
The Taylorville Public Library has an opening for a High School Students Aide, willing to work nights and Saturdays, for an average of 9 hours per week.  Applicant must be 16 years of age or have a work permit, and reside within city limits of Taylorville.  Applications may be picked up at the library, at 121 W. Vine Street.  Applications with resumes attached will be accepted until Friday, April 8, 2016.  The Taylorville Public Library is an equal opportunity employer.
