Key Club
Key club members interested in volunteering at a fundraiser at North School on Monday, October 17th after school, see Miss Ames before or after school (in room 132).
Tornadoes Football Fans
Any person who would like a flyer to purchase 2016 Taylorville Tornadoes Football gear needs to see Coach Odam in room 127 as soon as possible. Fans can purchase short sleeve, long sleeve and hoodie shirts to support the football team during the playoffs!
If any student would like to purchase a homecoming tee shirt or long sleeve shirt there are extras. Tee shirts are $12 and long sleeve shirts are $15. See Mr. Aymer if you are interested.
Wrestling
Attention all H.S. wrestlers: You need to see Coach Mateer to pick up an apparel catalog for the upcoming wrestling season.
Blood Drive
There will be a blood drive Tuesday, October 18. If you are 16 you will need a parental consent form. Sign-ups can be found in the main office.
Prom
Attention Juniors. There will be two informational mandatory meetings for anyone interested in helping with this year’s prom. Please plan on attending one of these mandatory meetings. Both meetings are being held in Mrs. Tanner’s Room 306. Meeting dates are Wednesday, October 19th after school at 3:00 p.m .or Thursday, October 20th before school at 7:30 a.m. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Tanner, Mrs. Thorpe, Mrs. Viara, or Ms. Potter.
COUNSELING
Attention Seniors: Applications for the Taylorville Community Credit Union scholarship are now available in Student Services. Deadline to apply is today. Two students will be awarded $1,000 each.
Attention Seniors: Please check your school email to vote for the 2016 DAR Good Citizen Award. Vote for one student based on dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. Voting closes on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
