HOMECOMING
Second round of homecoming court voting will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 during lunch hours.
Attention Students: Need a dress for the Homecoming Dance? See Mrs. Hutchins, Mrs. Glenn or Ms. Wagoner in Student Services.
Float building will take place at the Christian County Fairgrounds beginning today, 9/29, Monday, 10/3 and Tuesday, 10/4. Hours are from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Guest Passes for Homecoming are available in the Main Office. Homecoming is for Taylorville High School students and their guest. If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1. Guest cannot be a student at any junior high.
2. THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3. THS student is required to have a guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance.
COUNSELING
Attention Students: Our annual College Night is Wednesday, October 5th from 6-7:30 p.m. held in the cafeteria. Representatives from 40 colleges, universities, trade schools and the military will be here to discuss their programs and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to plan your future. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. Stop by College Night after the Homecoming Parade.
Attention Seniors: Applications for the Taylorville Community Credit Union scholarship are now available in Student Services. Deadline to apply is Oct. 14. Two students will be awarded $1,000 each.
Attentions Seniors: A list of College Campus Open House Visit Days is now available in Student Services, from classroom teachers, on the counseling web page and sent via the Remind text message service. When you are scheduling college visit days, please refer to the guidelines on page 116 in your agenda book.
