Congratulations
Congratulations to the THS journalism staff, who received word yesterday that the 2016 Drift has been inducted into Walsworth Publishing Company's prestigious Gallery of Excellence, which serves as a showcase of the best yearbooks published by Walsworth. Gallery of Excellence yearbooks are displayed at regional, state and national conventions and are used as examples in Walsworth's educational materials.
PICTURES
The final picture make-up day will be next Tuesday, September 13th from 7:00 a.m. until the lunch hours are completed. This is the last time the school photographer will be here for pictures.
SPANISH CLUB
The next Spanish Club meeting is this Monday, September 12th at 7:30am in room 300.

COUNSELING
Attention Students:  If you would like to receive text messages for important school news and events, please stop by Student Services to get instructions on how to download the app for the Remind message service.
 
Attention Students:  The first scholarship bulletin of the year is now available.  It is posted in Student Services, classrooms, on the counseling link, in your school email, and on the Remind messenger service.  See the counselors for questions.
Attention Seniors:  Need help creating your Parchment account to send your electronic transcripts? Help sessions are available today in the Computer Lab 223 during advisory.  See the counselors in Student Services for questions.

Attention Students:  The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be administered on September 27 at 8:15 a.m. This test measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military.  There is no fee for this test.  Please register in Student Services.  Preference will be given to juniors and seniors.
Attention Juniors:  We are offering the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) to Juniors on October 19 at 8:15 a.m.  This is an optional standardized test administered by the College Board and cosponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.  Scores are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program.  Cost of the test is $15.  Register in Student Services.
