Senior Citizens Prom

There will be a meeting Wednesday, 10/1 after school in Room 137 for all those interested in assisting with the 2014 Senior Citizen’s Prom. If there are any incentive winners or LLCC student who cannot attend, please see Mr. Cambruzzi in Room 137.

Spain 2015 trip

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in the trip to Spain this June at the Taylorville Public Library community room this evening from 7:00 until 7:30pm.

COUNSELING

We are sponsoring our annual College Night to be held Wednesday, October 8^th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.  Representatives from 48 colleges, universities, technical schools and the military will be in attendance to distribute information and answer questions.  There will also be two financial aid seminars presented at 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 – 8:00 p.m.  This event is free and open to all students and parents from Taylorville and surrounding schools.  No reservations are necessary.  

Attention Students:  The following college and university admission representatives will be here to speak with students.

If interested in attending, register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.

Illinois College – Tuesday, September 30 at 10:00 a.m.

Lincoln Land Community College – Wednesday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m.

Illinois State University – Thursday, October 2 at 2:00 p.m.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale – Monday, October 6 at 9:00 a.m.

Blackburn College – Monday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m.

Illinois Wesleyan University – Tuesday, October 14 at 1:00 p.m.

University of Missouri at St. Louis – Thursday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m.
