Congratulations to Grace Markwell for a second place finish on the English portion of the Worldwide Youth Science and Engineering Competition (WYSE). Grace will complete in sectionals in March.
Seniors
Seniors will have a class meeting today, Wednesday, February 3, 2016, during first hour. Students should report to 1st hour for attendance then be released at 8:40 to the cafeteria.
Student Council
Student Council will be hosting a winter semi-formal dance. The dance will be held Saturday, February 20th in the East Gym. The cost will be $10.00 at the door. Only current students of THS will be attending the dance.
Boys Track
Any boy wanting to participate in track needs to see Coach Blomquist to pick up a flyer for The Store. Orders are due February 7th.
Juniors
There will be a class meeting in the cafeteria during advisory on Friday, February 5th.
Counseling Center
Attention Students: An updated scholarship bulletin is available online on the counseling link, in Student Services, and from classroom teachers.
Attention Students: Interested in a career in nursing? Taylorville Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a summer camp, Teens Experiencing Nursing, from July 12 - July 14, 2016. There is no charge to participate in this program. A maximum of 15 students from Christian County will be selected. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2016. Additional information and applications are available in Student Services.
