Scholastic Bowl
Congratulations to the Scholastic Bowl Team on completing their season with records of 4-4 for the Varsity and 3-5 for the Junior Varsity.
Student Council
Student Council will be hosting a winter semi-formal dance. The dance will be held Saturday, February 20th in the East Gym. The cost will be $10.00 at the door. Only current students of THS will be attending the dance.
Boys Track
Any boy wanting to participate in track needs to see Coach Blomquist to pick up a flyer for The Store. Orders are due February 7th. There will be a meeting February 10th, immediately after school in room 143.
Juniors
There will be a class meeting in the cafeteria today during advisory on Friday, February 5th.
Dodgeball Tournament
There will be a dodgeball tournament on Wednesday, February 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the West Gym. Teams should consist of 6-8 players with at least two of each gender. The cost is $40 per team. Registration sheets will be available in the Main Office the week of the tournament.
Counseling Center
Attention Students: An updated scholarship bulletin is available online on the counseling link, in Student Services, and from classroom teachers.
Attention Students: Interested in a career in nursing? Taylorville Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a summer camp, Teens Experiencing Nursing, from July 12 - July 14, 2016. There is no charge to participate in this program. A maximum of 15 students from Christian County will be selected. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2016. Additional information and applications are available in Student Services.
