Prom
If you didn't get the opportunity to order a Prom t-shirt and still would like to, please see Miss Potter sometime today or Tuesday. They are $15.
If you are a LLCC student and didn't get the chance to vote for prom court, see Miss Potter, Mrs. Tanner, Mrs. Thorpe, or Mrs.Viara on today or Tuesday to vote.
Guest Passes are available in the Main Office. Prom is for Junior and Senior students and their guest. If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1. Guest cannot be a student at any junior high school.
2. THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass for and having their guest complete all the required information.
3. THS student is required to have guest pass for signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.
4. In order to purchase tickets for prom, THS student (Jr. & Sr. Only) must provide an approved copy of guest pass.
Student Council
Today is the last day to order Memorial T-Shirt. If you forgot your money, contact Jade Bergschneider.
On Wednesday, April 20th, wear your club or organization t-shirt (Student Council, FFA, Key Club, SADD, Etc.) for National Leader Week!
Student Council applications for the 2016-2017 school years are available from Mrs.Sorrill in room 226 or Mr. Aymer in room 152. All applications are due back by Friday, April 22, 2016, at 3:00 p.m.
Blood Drive
There will be a blood drive on Friday April 29th. Signup sheet are in the Main Office. Any student under 16 will need a parental consent form.
Any student with a negative balance on their lunch account will only be served peanut butter and jelly as their lunch entrée.
Counselling Center
Attention Students Grades 9 thru 11: Interested in one of the Military Service Academies? MacArthur High School is hosting an information session on Tuesday, April 19 from 6-7 pm. RSVPS to Hubert.Murray@mail.house.gov or 217.791.6224 by April 15. Speakers from the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy will be making presentations.
Summer School
Summer School Credit Recovery registration forms are now available in Student Services office. Summer school dates are June 1 - 24, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon). Students can only register for a maximum of 2 classes for the summer school session. Space is limited!
There will be NO summer school Driver's Education class offered this summer.
