Softball
All girls interested in playing softball this spring must register on 8 to 18. If you do not know
how to register see coach Novar or Mr.Held. You must have a current up to date physical by
2-26-18. If you have questions please see coach Novar ASAP.
Art Club
This Valentine’s Day send your crush a crush soda! The Art Club with be selling crush sodas
to send to your crush during lunch hours this week. Cost is $1 each. Sodas will be sent out next
Wednesday the 14th during 7th hour.
Baccalaureate
Any senior wanting to take part in the planning of the baccalaureate ceremony in May,
MUST attend the planning meetings. The first of four meetings will be this Tuesday, February 6
in room 134 at 7:30 a.m.
Classes
Are you interested in a career in science, technology, engineering or math? Plan to attend the
STEM College Fair in St. Louis on March 4th sponsored by the National Association for
College Admission Counseling. Information and registration is found at
www.nacacfairs.org/st-louis-stem.
Counseling Center
Lincoln Land Community College is offering a second College NOW Informational Night on
Monday, February 26 at 6 p.m. Students and parents are encouraged to attend.
Students wishing to attend CACC for the 2018-19 school year must complete the online
registration form. Please follow the link https://robertferriell.wixsite.com/registration,
click on the "CACC Registration" button in the middle of the page, and complete and submit
the form. This must be done to ensure your seat at CACC. Please feel free to contact
Mrs. Glenn with any questions.
Attention Seniors: If you attended Vision Way Christian School, there is a scholarship
application available in Student Services. Deadline to apply is February 16.
Attentions Students: Please check your school email for a scholarship opportunity
from the Illinois Realtors Association. This opportunity is available for all students in all
grades. Deadline to apply is February 15.
