Congratulations to the girls’ basketball on being named tournament champs this past weekend.  Congratulations to Grace Bollinger and Alyviah Durham for making All Tournament Team.

The student council angel tree is located in the Main Office.  If you or a group of friends would like to help children have a Merry Christmas consider taking an angel off the tree.  Be sure to register your angel on the list on the counter.

FOOTBALL
There will be an informational meeting for any person who wants to join the Taylorville Tornadoes Football Program this Friday, Dec 5 after school in room 127.  This meeting will discuss our upcoming offseason lifting, calendar, and every other way we can continue our success!  If you were not a member of this year's team and have the slightest interest, you owe it to yourself to attend the meeting to hear how we intend to repeat as Apollo Conference Champions!

Members of winter sports, please see Coach Odam to pick up the packet of information and get signed up on Friday.  

Madrigal Dinner
Tickets are currently on sale in the Main Office for this year’s Madrigal Feast.  Dates and times are as follows:  Friday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 6th at 7:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $22 for Adults and $15 for Students. 

Counseling Center
Seniors:  Friday, December 5 is the last day to take an approved college day visit for 1st semester and have it exempted from your attendance.  College Day Visit forms must be signed by teachers and parent then returned to your counselor 5 school days before your visit.  This means Wednesday is the last day to obtain a form from your counselor and turn in for an exempted college day visit for 1st semester.  Seniors are allowed 2 exempted college day visits for the school year and PSAE incentive students earned an additional one day.  If you have questions, see your counselor.

Attention Seniors:  An updated scholarship bulletin in now available from your classroom teachers, in Student Services, and online on the counseling link of the high school webpage.

Attention Students:  The following colleges will be here to meet with students on the designated dates.  If interested in attending, please register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.

Think you have a creative flair for styling hair?  Come listen to licensed cosmetologist and THS graduate, Sarah Morrison, discuss what it takes to be successful in the cosmetology profession, Friday, December 5th at 2:30 p.m.  Register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.
