ANNOUNCEMENTS
Congratulations to the boys’ basketball team on defeating arch rival Pana by a score of 78-55. The traveling trophy remains in Taylorville.  Go Tornadoes!

Art Club
Valentine’s Day rose sales are taking place during the lunch hours.  Art Club will be selling these through Wednesday, February 11th

STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council will be handing out evaluation sheets during lunch today.  Please complete and return. This will help better our school’s student council organization.

Guest Passes
Guest Passes for the Sadie Hawkins Dance are in the Main Office.  The dance is for Taylorville High School students and their guest.  If you are bringing a guest that is not a student of THS the following rules apply:
1.     Guest cannot be a student at any junior high school.
2.     THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3.     THS student is required to have a guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.

THS Hall of Fame
The THS Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations at this time for the upcoming dinner/induction ceremony.
Nominations previously submitted are still active, but if you would like to nominate someone new, forms are available in both Student Services and the main office.   They are also available online at www.tcusd3.org  All nominations are due by February 21, 2015

Counseling Center
Attention Seniors:  The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship application is now available in Student Services.  This scholarship awards tuition and fees for two semesters to Lincoln Land Community College and tuition for two semesters to Richland Community College.  Applications are due Friday, February 13.

Attention Juniors:  Are you an enterprising student with an interest in business?  Then you may want to consider the newly developed Christian County CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program.  This year long accredited high school class connects students to area business leaders where students will experience the challenges and rewards of creating and running a business.  For additional information and applications, see Mrs. Sawyer or Ms. Wagoner in Student Services.  Applications are due February 15.

Attention Juniors:  You will be completing the non-testing portion of the ACT on Thursday, February 12 during hours 1 – 3 in the cafeteria.  Please bring two #2 pencils to the session.  Please report to your first hour class before reporting to the cafeteria.  Be sure to know your table assignment which is available from classroom teachers.
