THS Food Drive
· Students bring food to their first hour classes
· Collections will be done every Tuesday and Thursday
· Ends December 7th
· The first hour class with the most points wins a Breakfast party.
· The point scale & other information can be found on the flyer hung around the school.
Today student council is sponsoring a Pajama Day! Please bring 2 cans of food or $2.00 to participate.
The Christmas Angel tree has been placed in the Main Office. Angels are ready to be picked up. Please remember after you select an angel to sign the list on the counter. Gifts will need to be returned by Tuesday, December 6th. Please DO NOT WRAP your gift. Simply return the items in a trash bag with your Angel attached to the bag. Questions? Blacklight Dance
There will be a Blacklight Dance on December 14th following the boys’ varsity basketball game until 11 p.m. in the east gym. The cost per person is $5. The theme for the game is neon. Come to the Blacklight Dance and support Student Council. See Elizabeth Curtin if you have any questions.
Christian County YMCA
The Christian County YMCA’s Youth Advisory Committee is looking for students who are passionate about youth and building a healthy community. If you are between the ages of 14-18 and would like to work toward creating the best YMCA experience for all young people, pick up an application in the Main Office. The deadline to complete and return to Mr. Hutchison is Friday, December 21st.
Counseling Center
SENIORS: A representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be on campus, today during the lunch periods. The representative can answer questions regarding the FAFSA, scholarships, financial aid and applying to college. Additional information is in your school email.
