New City Ordinance
A new City Ordinance has been passed regarding the possession and/or use of “alternative nicotine products”, this includes vapes, e-cigarettes, Juuls, etc. Possession and/or use of these
products at THS is a violation of school policy. Per the City Ordinance, a violation warrants a
$200 fine for individuals under the age of 18.

Do you want to test yourself? Are you looking for a challenge that will improve yourself as a person? Are you looking for a boost in self-confidence? Do you want to learn the world's oldest sport? Do you want to be part of a special family? The Vortex Wrestling Academy is now accepting participants, boys AND GIRLS, for the upcoming spring 2019 season. The primary focus of the academy is to teach the great art of wrestling to any boy AND GIRL entering grades 5th-12th grade in the surrounding area. The academy will run from March thru June and will practice 2x's per week with a competitive focus on the Olympic Wrestling styles, Freestyle and Greco-Roman. Key Club

Key Club is selling cancer ribbons for
National Cancer Prevention Month. Ribbons will be sold for $1 during the
lunch hours. Proceeds will go to the
American Cancer Society.

Musical

Spring Musical Crew applications are available for students wishing to work behind the scenes for this year's production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA! Yellow application packets can be picked up in the main office, or from Mr. Chase in the Choir Room. Completed packets are due back no later than Friday, February 22. Crew is a lot of work, but it can also be a lot of fun! We hope you can join us!

THS STORE

The School Store is now open every morning from 8 to 8:20. If you find yourself, hangry we now have granola bars for sale.

Counseling Center

Attention all juniors: the SAT is fast approaching. Brush-up your math skills in Mrs.Rivecco’s room, every Thursday during advisory. Practice + Confidence = Success!

Registration for any student who signed up for CACC will be held today. Students will need to report to room 146 at 9:00 am to register.

· SENIORS: The LLCC Foundation Scholarship is due next Friday, March 1.
· Check your school email for the latest Scholarship Bulletin.
