Girls Basketball
Girl’s basketball open gym will begin on Tuesday, September 20th from 6 – 8 p.m. in the East Gym.
Scholastic Bowl
There will be a Scholastic Bowl meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20th before school at 7:45 a.m.
HOMECOMING
Homecoming shirts will be on sale today and Tuesday during the lunch hour.  Tuesday is the final day for orders.
Guest Passes for Homecoming are available in the Main Office.  Homecoming is for Taylorville High School students and their guest.  If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1.      Guest cannot be a student at any junior high.
2.     THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3.     THS student is required to have a guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance.
Key Club
Key Club meeting will be held on Wednesday, 9/21 at 7:45 a.m. in the East Gym.
COUNSELING
Attention Seniors:  Applications for the Taylorville Community Credit Union scholarship are now available in Student Services.  Deadline to apply is Oct. 14.  Two students will be awarded $1,000 each.  
Attentions Seniors:  A list of College Campus Open House Visit Days is now available in Student Services, from classroom teachers, on the counseling web page and sent via the Remind text message service.  When you are scheduling college visit days, please refer to the guidelines on page 116 in your agenda book.
Attention Students:  Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation is offering a Healthcare Education Open House on September 20, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. This open house is for students interested in pursuing a healthcare-related education.  Representatives from 14 colleges and universities will be in attendance to provide information on their programs.  No registration is necessary.  Additional information is available in Student Services.
Attention Students:  The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be administered on September 27 at 8:15 a.m. This test measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military.  There is no fee for this test.  Please register in Student Services.  Preference will be given to juniors and seniors.
Attention Students:  The following colleges/universities will be here to meet with students.  If interested in attending, please register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.
