Art Club
Art Club members going to the Art Gallery opening need to have a signed permission slip given to Mr. Mathis before the trip.  Students going on the trip are required to attend a mandatory meeting this Friday after school.  Expectation of attending the gallery will be discussed.
Student Council
Taylorville High School Student Council is hosting a blood drive in the East Gym from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd.   If you are 16 years old you must complete the parental consent form provided by CICBC.  Remember eat and drink before donating.  You must present donor or photo ID to donate. Signup sheets are available in the Main Office for students who want to donate.
Coat Drive
The annual Coat Challenge is now taking place and will continue until October 25th.  Bring us your old coats that are in good shape or purchase a new coat to donate.  All sizes and genders are needed.  We have a special need for children’s coats.  Help us make the annual coat drive a success.  Coats may be dropped off in Mrs. Schafer’s room, Mr. Elvidge’s room or the box located in the Main Foyer.  Person or group who brings in the most coats wins a $50 Angelo’s gift card.
Counseling Center
Attentions Students:  A recruiter from the U.S. Navy will be here today to meet with students during the lunch hours in the cafeteria.  If interested in a career in the Navy, please see the recruiter at the display table.  
Attention Students - Looking for a part-time job?  McDonald's is hiring students who are 16 years of age and older.  Open interviews will be held today from 4 - 6 p.m. at the McDonald's restaurant.  
Community person is looking for a female student (junior or senior preferred) to work for her part time on Saturdays​or afternoons after school to help with odd job around the home, such as cleaning,​cooking,​raking leaves, and a variety of things. See Mrs. Sawyer if interested.​
