We need all Sophomores & Juniors to meet in the cafeteria on Friday morning.  We will be discussing information pertaining to curriculum for next school year.  We will call the Sophomores down to the cafeteria @ 8:20 and the Juniors at 9:20.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Everyone is invited to a pancake breakfast on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 a.m. in Room 129.Please join us.  All are welcome to attend.

Pictures
Homecoming pictures, as well as student pictures, have arrived and may be picked up in Room 144 before or after school any day this week.

Library
Students if you like to read EBook’s please stop by the library and check out this new service we offer.

Key Club
There will be a Key Club meeting this Wednesday, October 21st at 7:45 a.m. in the East Gym.

Student Council
Taylorville High School Student Council is hosting a blood drive in the East Gym from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd.   If you are 16 years old you must complete the parental consent form provided by CICBC.  Remember eat and drink before donating.  You must present donor or photo ID to donate. Signup sheets are available in the Main Office for students who want to donate.

Wrestling
There will be a meeting for everyone interested in wrestling this year on Thursday, after school in room 143.

Boys Bowling
Tryouts for the Taylorville High School 2015-2016 Boys Bowling team will be held on Monday October 26th from 4 pm till 6 pm at the Olde Bowl. Any interested students wanting to join the team must have an up-to-date physical turned into the school nurse and be registered online with the 8to18 website in order to tryout.

Girls Basketball
There will be a Parent/Coaches meeting for all girls and their parent/guardian who are interested in playing basketball this year on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM in the West Gym.

Coat Drive
The annual Coat Challenge is now taking place and will continue until October 25th.  Bring us your old coats that are in good shape or purchase a new coat to donate.  All sizes and genders are needed.  We have a special need for children’s coats.  Help us make the annual coat drive a success.  Coats may be dropped off in Mrs. Schafer’s room, Mr. Elvidge’s room or the box located in the Main Foyer.  Person or group who brings in the most coats wins a $50 Angelo’s gift card.

Counseling Center
Attention Seniors:  Need help with your Parchment transcript account?  The school counselors will be in Lab 223 during Advisory on Monday, Oct. 19 - Wednesday, Oct. 21 to help you.  No need to register.  Please attend by 2:30 p.m. to complete the process.
Attention Students:  An updated scholarship bulletin is now available in Student Services, from classroom teachers, online on the counseling web page, or via your Remind account.
Attention Students:  A recruiter from the U. S. Army will be here on Wednesday, October 21 during the lunch hours in the cafeteria.  See the recruiter at the display table if you have any questions.
Community person is looking for a female student (junior or senior preferred) to work for her part time on Saturdays​or afternoons after school to help with odd job around the home, such as cleaning,​cooking,​raking leaves, and a variety of things. See Mrs. Sawyer if interested.​
