Reminder: All students are invited to participate in the following activities in room 300 to celebrate National Foreign Language Week...
Before School tomorrow - Karaoke Party!
Any time before Advisory begins tomorrow - Guess how many goodies there are in the bowl in room 300 --25 cents per guess, or you get a free guess by answering the daily trivia question correctly.  The answer to yesterday's trivia question (What’s the name of the first Disney princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures?) was Elena of Avalor.  Today's Question: What does it mean when people from Mexico tap their elbows with their hands?

Dodgeball Tournament
There will be a dodgeball tournament this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the West Gym.  The cost is $5 per player.  Teams will consist of 6 members (2 players of opposite gender).  If you are interested in participating you may register at the door.

Nitro ball Tournament
The THS Band is hosting a Nitro ball Tournament in the West Gym this Friday, March 17th.  The cost is $5 per person.  You may sign up with Jenny Tullis, Kelly Overhaug or Taylor Ahrendt or sign up at the door beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Teams will consist of 3-4 people.  Come have fun and support the band.

Girls Basketball
The Lady Tornadoes Basketball Banquet and Awards dinner will be held on Sunday, March 19th at 5:00 p.m. at Krieger’s.  There is no charge for players.  The cost for family members who attend is $10 per adult and $7.50 per child (10 and under).  Registration forms are available in the Main Office.  Registration forms and money are due to Mr. Held in student services no later than Wednesday, March 15th.

COUNSELING CENTER
Attention Seniors:  Senior announcements and tankards will be distributed on Friday, April 7during the lunch hours in the cafeteria.  Caps and gowns will be distributed during graduation practice on Monday, May 22.  
Attention Seniors:  The Dr. George Ferry Memorial Scholarship is due March 31.  If you are planning a career in a medical field, you should consider applying.  Return application materials to Ms. Wagoner in Student Services.
Attention Students:  Interested in a career in nursing?  Then you should consider the summer Teens Experiencing Nursing (TEN) Camp where students experience nursing on a first-hand basis. Additional information and application available online at: http://jobs.choosememorial.org/students/ten-camp/

Attention Juniors and Seniors:  The University of Illinois at Springfield is hosting an informational meeting for students interested in earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree on March 28 at 6:30 p.m. held at Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation.  If interested in attending, students must RSVP at www.uis.edu/nursing/
