Homecoming
Sign-up sheets for Bonfire Games are in the main office on the counter.  The class that has the most individuals participate will receive extra points. Sign-ups need to be done before Wednesday at the end of the school day.
Students, you have an opportunity to duct tape a teacher to a wall.  Friday night during the tail gate and pregame festivities, stop by the wall by the tennis courts to duct tape a teacher.  
Homecoming tickets are on sale this week during lunch hours ONLY. The cost per ticket is $15.  
Homecoming picture order forms are now available in the main office. The school photographer will be available in the cafeteria Saturday night from 8 o'clock until just after coronation at 10:00. Picture order forms will also be available from the photographer Saturday night.
Homecoming
Guest Passes for homecoming are available in the Main Office.  Homecoming is for Taylorville High School Students and their guest.  If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1.   Guest cannot be a student at any junior high school.
2.   THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3.   THS student is required to have guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.

FCA
The annual See You at the Pole Rally is this Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m.  The rally is a time to pray for our country, community and school with fellow students and teachers.
Scholastic Bowl
Scholastic Bowl will practice today and Thursday this week in Mr. Grizzell's room 129 from 3:00-3:45 p.m.
Counseling Center
There will be a meeting for seniors with Illini Grad Sales - Herff Jones on Tuesday, September 29 at 8:20 a.m.  Seniors MUST report to 1st hour class for attendance, the pledge of allegiance and to listen to morning announcements before reporting to the cafeteria for the meeting regarding seniors ordering cap/gown/tassel and other senior items.

Ordering of cap/gown/tassel unit and other senior items will be on Wednesday, October 7 beginning at 8:20 a.m. and will report by alphabetical list that will be sent out closer to the ordering date.
This year ALL senior must order a cap/gown/.tassel unit as these will not be the same as prior years.
Attention Students:  A recruiter from the United States Navy will be here to visit with students during the lunch hours in the cafeteria on Tuesday, September 22.  If interested in the Navy, please speak with the recruiter as the display table.
Attentions Students:  Our annual College Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 7 in the high school cafeteria from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.  College, university, and military representatives will be here to discuss the admission process and academic opportunities.  Two financial aid sessions will be presented at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Room 166.  This free event is open to all students and parents. We encourage everyone to attend to explore your opportunities after high school.
Attention Students:  Memorial Medical Center in Springfield is sponsoring the Memorial Explorer Post 1897 program for students interested in a healthcare career.  The program consists of six sessions scheduled from October - February.  The first event starts October 8.  Additional information is available in Student Services.  

Attention Students:  The Illinois Department of Transportation is sponsoring an Explorers Post for students interested in engineering as a career.  The first event takes place on September 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Additional information and registration forms are available in Student Services.
