ANNOUNCEMENTS
Students, do you want to win a chromebook before you leave for Christmas break?  Join Taylorville School District and over 100 million students across the country in one of the largest learning events in history: the Hour of Code.  Between December 1st and December 14th, go to www.code.org to sign in using your Google Account.  Complete one of the hour of code activities by December 14th, show proof to Mrs. Mitchell (room 301) that you have completed it, and you will  have your name entered into a drawing to win a chromebook!  The computer lab (301) will be open from 7:30-8:00 and 3:30-4:15 on December 8th, 9th, and 10th if you want to work on it in the lab.  Check out the www.tcusd3.org for more details of why coding is important to you, and how to log into hour of code!
Angel Tree
Angels are available in the main office for pick up.  If you are interested in taking an angel, please sign your name on the number of the angel you take.  All angels are due back on December 9th.  If you have any questions you can contact BreAnna Adams, Peyton Kennedy, Mr. Aymer, or Mrs. Sorrill.
Football
There will be a football meeting for 2016 football players in Room 127 immediately after school on Thursday, December 3rd.  Winter sport athletes need to see Mr. Odam to sign up.

Today is the last day to donate to the Student Council food drive. All items must be new, sealed packages and not expired. Each item donated have a point value and the class that accumulates the most points will receive either a donut or pizza party.

Junior class meeting will be held today during advisory in the cafeteria. Juniors if you have advisory please go to your advisory FIRST for attendance then go to the cafeteria where attendance will also be taken.

S.A.D.D.
The THS SADD will be hosting penny wars during lunch hours this week.  Vote on a teacher you would like to see get a pie to the face.  All proceeds help fund the THS After Prom lock-in at the YMCA.
Student Council
