Attention Purple Reign members and all THS students:

The Purple Reign Executive Board has decided to enter our school in the first ever IHSA Student Section Showdown Contest.  This contest pits student sections from the around the state against one another to see who has the best spirit and sportsmanship. Student sections will have the remainder of the 2014-15 basketball season to submit a video (up to three minutes) that shows their student section in action during a game.  The video submissions must be uploaded to YouTube by February 6th, 2015.  Starting at tonight's game, we will be video recording the Purple Reign in action to assist us in our video submission.  What we are asking is, whether you are in Purple Reign or not, to please come to the game, sit in the student section (which we hopefully is packed), and participate LOUDLY in our organized cheers, chants, etc.  We truly believe we have a very unique student fan entity and believe we can win this thing.  Please make plans to attend the upcoming basketball games.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Mateer.

Congratulations to the following students who are the winners of the Perfect Attendance Reward.  These students were among those who had perfect attendance for 1st semester.  Their names were drawn to receive an Off Campus Lunch on January 30 and they will be allowed to take a friend.
