Sophomore Class
There will be a Sophomore Class meeting today in the Cafe during Advisory.

Junior Class
There will be a Junior Class meeting on Tuesday, April 24th in the Cafeteria during Advisory.

Madrigals
Madrigal Auditions will be held during the month of May for next year’s Madrigal Singers group. If you have thought about being a part of this exciting tradition, this is your chance! Information sheets and the required music for the audition are available now in the main office and outside the choir room (room 159). There will be an optional audition workshop at 3:30 on Monday, May 7. Anyone who wants to know what the audition will be like and learn the required music should attend the workshop. Auditions will be held Tuesday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 9. You must sign up for a specific audition time outside the choir room. See Mr. Chase if you have any questions.

Prom
Guest Passes
Guest Passes for Prom are available in the Main Office. Prom is for Taylorville High School Juniors and Seniors and their guest. If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1. Guest cannot be a student at any junior high school.
2. THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3. THS student is required to have guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.
Student Council
There will be a blood drive on Friday, April 27th. Sign up sheet are in the Main Office. You must be at least 16 in order to donate. 16 year olds need to pick up a parental consent forms in the Main Office.

Student Council
Student Council applications for the 2018-2019 school year are available from Mrs. Sorrill in room 226. All applications are due by Friday, April 27, 2018. Please see Mrs. Sorrill or Mr. Ulferts if you have any questions.

Do you play “League of Legends” or “Overwatch”?
These games are a few of the ones played in esports at College’s and esport leagues. If you are interested in starting an esports club for next school year and perhaps compete against other schools/clubs at some point, please come to an informational meeting on Thursday April 26 at 3:10 pm in Room 146.

Counseling Center
Attention Seniors: The following scholarship applications are now available in Student Services:

Stonington Lions Club Scholarship Program
Due date: June 1
Award amount: one $500 award
Must be a graduating senior from the former Stonington School District

Kids Are Kids Memorial Scholarship
Due date: June 1
Award amount: one $1,000 award
Must pursue a degree in a special education field OR presently receive special education services with a desire to pursue a degree in a college, community college or trade school.

Attention 9th and 10th grade students: 
You will be taking the PSAT test on Tuesday, April 24. The test begins promptly at 8:15 a.m. and will last through 4th hour. You will need two #2 wood pencils, a calculator and your student ID which you will receive during 1st hour this week. No cell phones, books or other items are allowed in the testing rooms. Freshmen will report to 2nd floor and sophomores will report to 3rd floor. All students who have 3A lunch will eat during 4B lunch and then report to 5B class. Check the testing room rosters on 2nd and 3rd floor to know where to report on testing day.

Attention Students: 
 Are you planning on being a college athlete? If so, you and your parent(s)guardian(s) should plan on attending this informational session.
