Throw Down in the VILLE
THS softball is hosting Throw Down in the Ville bags tournament this Saturday October 11th at 11am. You must have your team signed up and paid for by the end of the day today.  You can sign up with Mr. Novar or during lunch hours. The cost is $5 per person or $10 a team. We have some great prizes, trophies and a chance to win some cash. There will be fun games at lunch hours today....join the fun and bag on!!!!

Friday’s Tailgate will start @ 4:30 p.m. and we will be raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness month with our “Dunk Tank” Fundraiser.  $1 per throw.  Here is the line-up for the Dunk Tank on Friday Night:

Attention THS Students and Staff:  Purple Reign is accepting memberships for the Winter Season.  Sign-up brochures are available in the main office and with Coach Mateer and need to be turned into Coach Mateer.  The deadline to sign-up is November 5th.  Cost is $40 and we will be doing 6 game day shirts this winter.  Questions?  See Coach Mateer.

COUNSELING
We are sponsoring our annual College Night to be held tonight from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.  Representatives from 48 colleges, universities, technical schools and the military will be in attendance to distribute information and answer questions.  There will also be two financial aid seminars presented at 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 – 8:00 p.m.  This event is free and open to all students and parents from Taylorville and surrounding schools.  No reservations are necessary.  

Attention Students:  The following college and university admission representatives will be here to speak with students.  If interested in attending, register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.
