in your life. The Chem Club will be selling the “Boos” during lunch and before advisory for $1
apiece.  They will be delivered Friday (Nov. 2nd) to your third hour. The Chem Club will also be
having a bake sale during those same times, $0.50 a treat.


The Monsta Bash Costume Dance has been moved to Friday Nov. 2rd from 7-10.  Tickets will
be sold this week during lunch or in Ms. V’s room. They are $10 for single and $15 for couple.
Remember, there will be a costume contest, dancing, games and photo booths.

The THS Student Council is sponsoring a Volleyball Tournament on November 1st in the West
Gym.  Cost is $5.00 per player. There must be at least 2 girls and 2 boys on each team.
Registration information is in the main office.

STUDENTS
Congratulations to Chris Cherry for his performance at the Decatur Sectional Cross Country Meet this past Saturday, at Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur. Cherry Finish 5th overall with a time of 15:26.98 for the 3 mile course. This time puts him as the new record holder for 3 miles for THS. The previous record was held by Luke Sloan back in 2015 at the same course with a time of 15:27.45.Chris will run on Saturday the 3rd at Peoria's Detweiller Park, at 12:00 P.M. He will be competing against the top 225 runners in the State.

Wrestling

SOPHOMORES: If you were unable to attend the Jostens meeting Monday, please come by Student Services to pick-up a ring order packet. A $60 deposit is due with your ring order.

Jostens will be here Thursday after school in the cafeteria from 3:00 - 4:00 pm taking ring orders for any sophomore, junior or senior who wishes to order. They will also be here on Friday during lunch hours to take orders. Extra ring order packets are available in Student Services.

Congratulations to the Tornado Marching Band for placing second in Class 4A at the Effingham Marching Hearts Invitational on Saturday. The band also won the award for Best Music.
