SPANISH CLUB
There will be a Spanish Club meeting after school today in Room 300.

FCA
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Tuesday, September 12th at 7:00 p.m. in Room 129.  There will be a Bible study, food and ultimate Frisbee.  Everyone is welcome!

SCIENCE CLUB
There will be a short Science Club meeting Tues after school is room 133.  Everyone is welcome.

Final Picture Re-Take Day
Any students, faculty, and staff who have yet to get their official school pictures taken this year will have one last opportunity next Tuesday, Sept. 9. The official school photographer will be set up in the cafeteria from 7:00 a.m. through lunch. No purchase is necessary, but order forms will be available from the photographer.

All high school students are invited to attend the 5th Quarter gathering following all Home Varsity Football Games at the Calvary Baptist Church’s Gym.  Event begins at 9 p.m. and ends at Midnight.  Join in for food, music and games.  Any questions contact Carlos Campos at 824-2324.

Guest Passes
Guest Passes for Homecoming are available in the Main Office.  Homecoming is for Taylorville High School Students and their guest.  If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1.       Guest cannot be a student at any junior high school.
2.      THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3.      THS student is required to have guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.
COUNSELING
Attention Students:  Interested in a career in engineering?  Consider joining the Engineering Explorer Post 6.  Sponsored by the Illinois Department of Transportation, this program gives students
practical “hands on” experience in the engineering field and the opportunity to spend time with practicing engineers and technicians.  The first meeting is September 23 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the
IDOT Central Office in Springfield.  For additional information, see Ms. Wagoner in Student Services or see your math or science teacher.

If interested in attending, register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.
