ANNOUNCEMENTS
Congratulations to the Taylorville Tornado Football Team and Coaches on their 2nd Round Playoff victory against Highland.

Congratulations also to Lawrence Curtin who finished 120th at the State Cross Country meet on Saturday with a time of 16:11.


He joins Grant Livingston and Allison Curtin as Taylorville’s only State Cross Country runners.

Prom
ATTENTION PROM COMMITTEE:

BOYS BASKETBALL
Boys Varsity Basketball will begin this evening at 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. in the West Gym.
Freshman/Sophomore Basketball tryouts will begin on this evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. in East Gym.

Art Club
Art Club t-shirt order forms can be picked up in the art room.  These are due with your payment by Friday, November 21st

Student Council
Please help support the Student Council as they host a food drive beginning Monday, November 3 through Wednesday, November 24th.  Check posters displayed throughout the school for details.

Wrestling
There will be a parent meeting for all members of the wrestling team on Wednesday, November 12th at 6:15 p.m. in the Junior High Cafeteria.

Counseling Center
Attention Students:  An updated scholarship bulletin is now available from classroom teachers, Student Services, or online on the high school website.

Attention Students:  The following colleges will be here to meet with students on the designated dates.  If interested in attending, please register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.

Savannah College of Art and Design – Wednesday, November 19 at 9:00 a.m.

Attention Students:  Interested in a career as a physician?   Want to know what it takes to survive and thrive in medical school?  If so, come listen to a presentation by THS graduate Katie Burgener who is a current medical student at Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine on Tuesday, November 25 at 2:30 p.m.  If interested in attending, register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.
