Dodgeball Tournament
There will be a dodgeball tournament on Monday, March 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the West Gym.  There will be 6-8 players per team with at least two of each gender.   The cost is $40 per team.
National Foreign Language Week
All students are invited to participate in the following activities in room 300 to celebrate National Foreign Language Week, March 7th-13th:

Pre-week activity: Poster contest – create a poster with the theme “Languages Enrich Your Mind” (winner gets a $10 gift certificate to Charro restaurant).  Due by today, Friday, March 4th.

Employment Opportunity

The Taylorville Park District has Job Opening for lifeguards, front desk and concessions for Manners Park Pool, as well as, Day camp counselors and directors.  The Park District is also looking for a responsible individual to run the Don Bragg Concession Stand beginning late April till mid-November.  Interested candidates must have reached the age of 15 and reside within the Taylorville Park District to be considered for employment.  The Park District will give the training needed to be a certified lifeguard.   Those wishing to work concessions must have a food handler’s license or be willing to attain one.  Applications may be picked up at the Manners Park Office Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or on line at  All applications must be turned in not later than 4:00 p.m. TODAY!
