Girls and Boys Bowling
There will be a meeting Thursday, September 3rd for any boy or girl interested in joining the bowling team this season. It will be held after school in Mr. Caniff’s room 141.


Library Club
If anyone is interested in joining Library Club, please stop by the library and sign up.  The first Library Club meeting will be Thursday, September 3rd immediately after school.


If anyone is interested in joining Read for a Lifetime or The Abraham Lincoln Reading Program, please stop by the library and sign up.


Softball
There will be a meeting or all girls interested in playing softball on Wednesday after school. The meeting will be in room 143 and will last about 15 minutes. If you can’t make it see Coach Novar.

Float building for the Homecoming Parade will be held September 20-22 at the Fairgrounds.  Signup sheets will be outside of Mr. Aymer’s Room.  Seniors will be building their float with the Senior Representative, Carlie Bitschenauer.  Juniors will be building their float with the Junior Representative, Heath Fleming.  Sophomores will be building their float with the Sophomore Representative, Lauren Barto and Freshmen will be building their float with the Freshmen Representative, Elizabeth Curtin.


Counseling Center
Seniors – Juniors – Sophomores:  The ASVAB test will be given at THS on Monday, September 28 for seniors, juniors & sophomores. This is the military aptitude test that can help you qualify for military positions AND help you take steps toward finding a career that’s right for you.  You are NOT obligated to the military in any way after taking this test.  There is NO COST for this test. Seats are limited so sign up today.  Priority will be given to seniors, juniors and then sophomores if needed. 


Bob Ridings is looking to hire a male student for afternoons/evenings.  You must be 16 or older.  Please see Ms. Pennock in Room 301 or 303 if you are interested.

All students are required to have their pictures taken by the official school photographer for attendance purposes, as well as for student ID cards and inclusion in the yearbook. No purchase is necessary; however, order forms will be available for those students wishing to order pictures. All faculty, staff and administrators should also see the photographer sometime today to have their pictures taken for inclusion in the yearbook.

There will be introductions of the football players, cheerleaders, dance team, JFL players and JFL cheerleaders. At tonight’s game there will be a fish fry. The Fish fry is from 4:00 to 6:30.  Carry outs are available. Menu is $7 for fish, fries and drink, $4 for hot dog, fries and drink.

Concessions will again be by ticket only this year at Varsity games.  The tickets are good at any concession the boosters operate the rest of the year and do not have to be used that evening.

The 2015 Purple and Gold Football Scrimmage will be this Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m. Students are encouraged to come out and support the freshman, JV and varsity football teams as they will take on each other in a scrimmage. There will be introductions of the football players, cheerleaders, dance team, JFL players and JFL cheerleaders.

At Friday's Purple and Gold Football Scrimmage there will be a fish fry.
