Powderpuff Football Game
On Thursday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. on the THS football field, the Christian County CEO class will be hosting a Powderpuff, or all-girls, flag football game.  Each class will have a team coached by members of the varsity football team and every person signed up will have playing time.  There will be three games played:  a freshman vs junior, sophomore vs. senior, and a championship game.  During the event, there will be a cake auction at halftime.  A 50/50 raffle will also be taking place at the event with proceeds benefiting a local charity.

Counseling Center
A representative from the US Air Force will be here on Tuesday, October 24 to meet with students during the lunch hours in the cafeteria.  See the recruiter at the display table.
A college representative from Lincoln Land Community College will be here on Wednesday, October 25

to meet with students at 10:00 a.m.  If interested in attending, please register in Student Services and get a pass from a counselor.

Attention Seniors:  An updated scholarship bulletin is now available.  It has been sent to your school email and Remind text message service.  It is also available in Student Services, from classroom teachers and on the counseling link of the high school web page.

Attention Students:  The Josten's rep will be here today during the lunch hours in the cafeteria to take orders for class rings.  A deposit of $60 is required.  See the rep at the display table.

Taylorville Football Playoff Shirt order forms are available in the Main Office.  Please turn in your completed order form, including payment, to the THS Main Office no later than 3:30 p.m. or take to concession stand during the JV football game Thursday night.  Game starts at 6:00 p.m.  All orders must be submitted by end of game.  Make checks payable to “Gridiron Club”.

Anyone interested in planning this years Prom, please plan on attending one of the following meetings in Mrs. Tanners room, room 306, today after school at 3:05 p.m or Friday before school at 7:45 a.m.

Any students and faculty who still need to have their pictures taken by the official school photographer will have one final opportunity to do so today. The photographer will be set up in the high school cafeteria from 7:00 in the morning through lunch. No purchase is necessary, but all students and faculty must have their pictures taken for attendance purposes, as well as for inclusion in the yearbook.

Boys’ basketball shoe fitting and ordering will be Tuesday at 2:45 at the circle entrance of the West Gym. You do not need to pay for the shoes until they arrive

Attention all Wrestlers for this upcoming 2017-2018 season:
Open Mats will begin this evening at 4pm-5:30pm.  Open Mats will be every Monday and Wednesday until the start of the season (November 6th, 2017).  If you have any questions, please see Coach Mateer.
