GIRLS SOFTBALL
There will be a softball meeting
after school on Thursday for all girls wanting to play softball this
spring. The meeting will be in Coach Novar’s
room 143. If you are unable to make the meeting please see coach Novar by
Friday.
Soccer
Soccer Shirt Orders are due by the end of the day today. You
must have your money when you place your order. See Lane Ruppert at
practice today for an order form or to turn in your order.
Art Club
The
Art Club will be meeting after school today.
CTI Computer Company will be there to explain the October float.
All high school students are invited to attend the 5th
Quarter gathering following all Home Varsity Football Games at the Calvary
Baptist Church’s Gym. Event begins at 9
p.m. and ends at Midnight. Join in for
food, music and games. Any questions

Guest Passes
Guest Passes for Homecoming are available in the Main
Office. Homecoming is for Taylorville
High School Students and their guest. If
you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules
apply:
1. Guest cannot be a student at any junior high
school.
2. THS
student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest
complete all the required information.
3. THS
student is required to have guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School
Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with
picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.
COUNSELING
ACT Prep class offered by LLCC to be held just before
October 25th ACT test date. Class will be held at THS
September 23 – October 21, 6 -8 PM. and cost is $135. Contact LLCC

Attention Students: Interested in a career in engineering?
Consider joining the Engineering Explorer Post 6. Sponsored by the
Illinois Department of Transportation, this program gives students
practical “hands on” experience in the engineering field and
the opportunity to spend time with practicing engineers and technicians.
The first meeting is September 23 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the
IDOT Central Office in Springfield. For additional
information, see Ms. Wagoner in Student Services or see your math or science
teacher.
