Boys’ basketball players need to report to the main entrance of the West gym today during advisory or immediately after school. Eastbay will be present to size all players and order team shoes.
Attention all students interested in joining the wrestling program for the 2016-2017 school year: Open mats will begin Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 @ the North School Annex. Wrestling Room @ 3:45 p.m. Open mats are for students who are NOT participating in a fall sport and will be held every Monday and Wednesday until the start of the season. If you have any questions, see Coach Mateer.
Attention Juniors: Anyone interested in helping with prom this year there will be two informational meetings. Please plan on attending one of these meetings. The meetings are Wednesday October 12 after school at 3:00 in room 306, Mrs. Tanners Room and Thursday October 13 before school at 7:30in room 306, Mrs. Tanners Room. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Tanner, Mrs. Thorpe, Mrs. Viara, or Ms. Potter.
Homecoming picture order forms are now available in the main office. The school photographer will be available in the cafeteria Saturday night, from 8-10 p.m.

Guest Passes for Homecoming are available in the Main Office. Homecoming is for Taylorville High School students and their guest. If you are bringing a guest that is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
1. Guest cannot be a student at any junior high.
2. THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
3. THS student is required to have a guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance.
Attention Students: Our annual College Night is this evening from 6-7:30 p.m. held in the cafeteria. Representatives from 40 colleges, universities, trade schools and the military will be here to discuss their programs and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to plan your future. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. Stop by College Night after the Homecoming Parade.
Attention Seniors: Applications for the Taylorville Community Credit Union scholarship are now available in Student Services. Deadline to apply is Oct. 14. Two students will be awarded $1,000 each.
Attention Seniors: There will be a senior class assembly with Josten's on Thurs., Oct. 6 at 8:15 a.m. in the cafeteria. The rep will discuss the ordering of senior announcements and caps and gowns. Report to your 1st hour class for attendance before reporting to the cafeteria.
