Congratulations to Shaunee Johnson for being named CACC Student of the Month in her Law Enforcement class.
This week, December 5-9, is Computer Science Week.  Taylorville Schools will once again be participating in Hour of Code. You can visit or to access a variety of coding programs at various levels.  Once you have completed the hour of code, please show proof of completion (you can print out a certificate, take a screenshot, or a picture with your phone) to any teacher or Mrs. Vocks in the computer lab by December 13.  We will have a variety of prizes again this year, including a Chromebook.  
Student Council
The annual Christmas Angel Tree has arrived in the Main Office.  Please consider giving to this worthwhile project.  The angel tree has the names and Christmas wishes of students and their younger siblings from the Taylorville and Stonington Schools.  Stop by the Main Office and select an angel.  When returning your gift, PLEASE DO NOT WRAP!  Gifts are to be returned no later than Tuesday, December 13th.
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the Ag Shop.  Please sign up in the Ag classrooms.  We will be working on Angel Tree and need lots of help.  Pizza will be provided.

The Royal Celebration awaits!  Tickets for the 33rd Annual Madrigal Dinner are currently on sale in the Main Office.  Join us on Friday, December 16th or Saturday, December 17th at 6:00 p.m.  Ticket price - $22 Adults $15 Students
Key Club
Key Club will be hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the West Gym. Sign-up sheets are in the main office, cost per team is $30
Please join the wrestling team for Armed Forces Night Wrestling Event in the THS West Gym this Wednesday, December 7th.  Posting of the colors will be at 5:45 p.m. with wrestling starting at 6:00 p.m.
Spikeball Tournament
There will be a Spikeball Tournament this evening from 6-8 p.m. in the East Gym.  Cost is $5.00 per person with 2 students per team. All team entries must be received by the end of 7th hour today, December 5th. You may sign up in the main office or with Mr.Novar. We need at least 8 teams to have the tournament. Winner gets a prize!
