All wrestlers that participated in this past 2016-2017 wrestling season, need to see Coach Mateer for post-season voting and banquet information by this Friday, March 10th, 2017.

Girls Basketball
The Lady Tornadoes Basketball Banquet and Awards dinner will be held on Sunday, March 19th at 5:00 p.m. at Krieger’s.  There is no charge for players.  The cost for family members who attend is $10 per adult and $7.50 per child (10 and under).  Registration forms are available in the Main Office.  Registration forms and money are due to Mr. Held in student services no later than Wednesday, March 15th.

THS Semi-Formal Dance will be held in the East Gym on Saturday, March 11th from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale during the lunch hours beginning Monday, March 6th  through Friday, March 10th.  Advance tickets are $8 and $10 at the door.  Guest Passes for the dance are available in the Main Office.  The dance is for Taylorville High School Students and their guest.  If you are bringing a guest that is not is not a student at THS the following rules apply:
  1. Guest cannot be a student at any junior high school.
  2. THS student is responsible for securing a guest pass form and having their guest complete all the required information.
  3. THS students are required to have guest pass form signed by Taylorville High School Administrator prior to the event and student must present form along with picture ID of guest to gain entrance to the dance.
The counseling department is offering a grief support group for students.  If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs. Glenn or Ms. Wagoner in Student Services.

Attention Juniors and Seniors:  The University of Illinois at Springfield is hosting an informational meeting for students interested in earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree on March 28 at 6:30 p.m. held at Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation.  If interested in attending, students must RSVP at
